Same shirt, UPGRADED OPTIMUS. Okay, I’m done with progress shots forever now. Let’s roll.
It took until today for me to think, “hmm, maybe I should try running off base, in REAL Japan? Instead of Americanized stupid air force base.” And something I learned is that off base drivers are absolutely frightening when I’m not in a car. Not enough to deter me from doing it again, but enough to probably get me killed one day. Lack of sidewalks and alleyway sized streets will do that, I guess.

Everything About It.
Quality.
Why can’t all animation be this good?
Why can’t all things be this great?
I like to remind myself that I sometimes draw. For fun. Fun equals Batman, and Sharpies.
Less fun is drawing Bane’s mask. It felt like drawing several penises. Otherwise, I like how it all came out. It satiated my drawing itch.
So there you go.
Also, since I like to sneak in fitness stuff in all my posts; I ran 3.5 miles in 32 minutes today after work. I had full intention on going 45 on my day away from weights, but I got bored. My nonsensical route led me back to my dorm around that time as well.
But, I wasn’t tired. And I ran faster than I did yesterday for longer. Even when running two days in a row, which I never ever do. And I’m running again tomorrow. Craziness.
I’m on the way to being good at running again.
Today was a bit of a shit workout day. I didn’t feel strong and I wasn’t feeling fast.
Except for the end of my run, which lasted a little long and was nearing 4:30.
If you don’t know, the national anthems of Japan and the US start playing every day at 4:30. Lasts about 3-4 minutes. During that time, if you’re outside, you stand and salute/hand on chest. Or if you’re driving, you pull over. During a run, it’s kind of jarring to have to stand with that elevated heartrate and nobody likes to have to stand outside anyways.
So by 4:25 I was about a mile and a half away from home and I didn’t BOOK it persay, but I was running faster in the last five minutes.
It’s a good motivator.

Noon, sunny: “Wow, it’s great weather right now. Can’t wait to go run after work, I’m gonna go all the wayyy”
3pm, typhoon: “Wow, fuck you Misawa.”
Raining for the next seven days, how awful. Cardio motivation’s gonna be tough.
In related news, this weather cancelled the flight that my buddy was gonna take out to Tokyo, to fly back to the States for the month. I got him to buy a bullet train ticket before he exploded in Southern rage. I don’t know if I saved his trip, or sent him to get stranded in Tokyo. Waiting on a response.
